In this project students will make experiments in three topics through three workshops:
Workshop 1: density
Workshop 2: pressure
Workshop 3: energy
In this project, every partner school will make two experiments in three topics through three workshops. Communication will be performed and recorded via the Zoom application and 4 online meetings will be organized. Starting in February, mentors, students, partner schools and project objectives and activities (activity calendar) will be presented through a mutual online meeting. A selection of the best motto and logo of the project will be between the first two online meetings. In the second, third and fourth online meetings each partner school will present and demonstrate two experiments on the given topic: Density, Pressure and Energy. After each online meeting, every partner school will create a digital poster and educational fun online quizzes. The final presentation of all implemented activities, results and educational material will be publicly presented and available on the web and TwinSpace.

The universal language of science enables us to overcome many barriers. Topics from natural sciences occupy attention in a special way, encourage creativity, promote universal values, enable an expanse of comprehension, warn about the preservation of sustainability. Project activities of the ‘Experiment in Spotlight’ through teamwork in multilateral surroundings, supported by using the ICT, will enable and contribute to the promotion of inclusivity and cultural diversity, development of social skills, overcoming language barriers, improvement of ‘literacy’ concept which has great importance on the road to lifelong education.
WORK PROCESS
(skraćena verzija) Steps of implementation: plan and set up a research protocol, explore available literature resources, select materials suitable for survey and apply appropriate methods, make/conduct experiments, acquire and describe/discuss data, results analyses, draw conclusions and highlight the important learning and teaching outcomes, dissemination.
-
Partners will focus on 3 different workshops. Every partner school will make two experiments from each workshop.
-
During the period of one year, we will have 4 online meetings with students in each.
-
All online meetings will be recorded in the Zoom application
-
Each experiment will be elaborated and published on TwinSpace. In the final phase of the project, all online meetings will be bound in a unique experiment booklet.
-
After each online meeting each school will create a digital poster on the given topic which will be published on the website and on TwinSpace.
-
Each school will organize a poster exhibition in an attractive school space.
-
After each online meeting one school will create a cognitive, educational, and fun online quiz in Testmoz or Loomen.
-
At the end of the implemented project activities, a public presentation of the project called 'STEM in action’ will be organized in which each school will present 6 experiments, present posters and conduct quizzes.
-
Vukovar Gymnasium will hold a public event presenting project activities on the premises of the Town Public Library Vukovar – youth department.
